SPECIAL 1
Movable floor with sun deck / lounge area and acrylic underwater window
This client owns a house in the center of the city, which means the outdoor space is limited. She was therefore looking for a way to integrate a swimming pool in her garden without sacrificing any valuable outdoor space.
The most remarkable feature of this project is that the first step of the integrated stairs can be used as a sun deck/patio (3.00 x 2.00 m) (9.84 x 6.56 ft). The part of the movable floor that serves as a sun deck/lounge area can be lowered to a maximum depth of 0.3m (0.98ft). This means that at any desired depth of the floor the client has a shallow pool area in which she can relax.
Another remarkable feature of this swimming pool is its acrylic underwater window. Standing in the living room you can look into the pool through a 2-sided open top acrylic underwater window. Giving it an infinity pool look.
- movable pool floor (10.00 x 3.00 m / 32.81 x 9.48 ft)
- integrated tanning ledge (3.00 x 2.00 m / 9.84 x 6.56 ft)
- integrated stairs (full width)
- acrylic underwater windows
This project is completed in 2018

BC-opleidingen, Enkhuizen, The Netherlands
A movable floor for one of the deepest diving pits of europe
BC-opleidingen, a training center for professional divers asked us to develop a movable floor for their diving pit, with a maximum depth of no less than 21.00 m (68.90 ft).
We manufactured and installed a unique movable floor system of 5.30 x 5.30 m (11.48 x 11.48 ft) with a locking system to ensure ultimate safety at specific training depths. The movable floor enables the center for professional divers to offer a varied range of training courses for future divers.
Part of the frame can even be removed, allowing divers to dive to depths of over 50.00 m (164.00 ft)! With this depth, the diving pit is among the deepest in Europe.

SPECIAL 3
a state-of-the-art athletes' complex royal antwerp F.C.
Within the state-of-the-art professional athletes’ complex, Tieleman developed and installed a movable floor with a tilt-adjustment feature and an integrated full-width staircase on one side in the rehabilitation pool. Because this floor is inclinable, Royal Antwerp F.C. is able work with different resistances during rehabilitation training.
We also developed and placed pool covers hidden underneath a mechanical hinged plateau, finished with natural stone. This solution is installed in both the cold and hot water pools to ensure an optimal climate in the room.
Thanks to this finish the cover is nearly invisible and the risk of entrapment is eliminated as the gap between the mechanical hinged plateau and the pool wall is less than 8mm (0.31inch).
- movable pool floor with tilt-adjustment feature (11.50 x 3.60 m / 37.73 x 11.81 ft)
- integrated stairs (full width)
- automatic built-in pool cover (2x, immersion pool and heath pool)
