OUR CONSTRUCTION PROCESS
Prior to the construction process, you will have an initial (mail or phone) consultation with one of our sales representatives to see what the requirements are for your medical, residential or commercial pool.
After agreeing with the client which product and which options fall within the scope of the project, it is important that Tieleman obtains the required project specifications and possible construction drawings. Based on this, we prepare a cost estimate.
If the cost calculation is reviewed and agreed upon, Tieleman will proceed to prepare an official quotation. After written approval of this quotation, the first work will be initiated in accordance with the project schedule.
You will receive a 3-D computer generated design before the production starts. This realistic render allows you to see all the elements of the pool design. At this stage, you can still make modifications and improvements with the architect or contactor. Once the design is approved, strength calculations and technical drawings are made.
Once the 3-D design and technical drawings have been approved, the production starts. Components such as movable floors, stainless steel pools and pool lifts each require specific knowledge and expertise. At Tieleman, all these components are produced in-house and tested by our own well trained experts.
On the construction site, Tieleman works together with the (local) pool builder or contractor and other third parties involved. On site, it is important that there is proper access to all facilities related to the pool.
During the completion, a Tieleman expert will check along with you that the installation is working properly and safely. You will then receive manuals and instructions on the proper use of the installation, after which the project is finally completed and the pool is ready for use.
In case of any malfunctions, you can contact the Tieleman office where you will be immediately connected to a service technician. If the malfunction cannot be solved over the phone, Tieleman will ensure that a service technician is on site as soon as possible.
the History of Tieleman pool Technology
Tieleman Pool Technology was founded in 1970. At the time, the market demanded high-quality and safe products for hydrotherapeutic purposes. Tieleman decided early on to do everything in its power to meet this demand. Therefore, they started developing and manufacturing these high-quality medical hydrotherapy products at that time. The products were intensively tested from base material to finished product. This enabled Tieleman to deliver, safeguard and guarantee the requested top quality.
Besides delivering premium quality, Tieleman aimed back then to relieve clients by thinking along with them and offering practical solutions. Thanks to delivering excellent quality, the latest techniques and customized service, the organization has evolved into the company it is today. All this has made Tieleman an indisputable link for professional bespoke work in the swimming pool industry.
Since 2017, Tieleman has been run by its 3rd generation of owners. Today, Tieleman is not only successful with its state-of-the-art hydrotherapy equipment. Tieleman has also attracted the attention of a wide range of clients not necessarily involved in the therapeutic industry. For example, residential clients, Olympic and public swimming pools, hotels, and sports clubs. Manufacturing is still in-house, giving Tieleman full control of the process, ensuring a quick turnaround of unique bespoke projects.

Steigenberger Airport Hotel, Amsterdam
Recently (2021) the technical room of the Steigenberger Airport Hotel was renovated. We replaced the entire water treatment installation. Thanks to the proportional control of the salt electrolysis, fluctuations in the chlorine value are kept to a minimum.
Øksnesbadet, Myre
The public swimming pool Øksnesbadet in the Norwegian town of Myre was equipped by Tieleman with a movable floor (25.00 x 5.00 m) with a hinged wall and a platform lift for wheelchair-users. These solutions allow the public swimming pool to be used for various activities ranging from competitive swimming to aqua jogging.
Corendon Village Hotel, Badhoevedorp
The indoor swimming pool of the Corendon Village Hotel in Badhoevedorp was equipped by us with a fully automated water treatment installation and a salt electrolysis with proportional control.
