A tribute to ancient history
This swimming pool with a movable floor is located in a northern London suburb, in a unique underground wellness area designed in a style inspired by ancient classical architecture.
The symmetrical lines, architectural pillars, and careful choice of materials create a serene, almost sacred atmosphere. At Tieleman, we are proud to have been able to contribute to such a unique project once again.
A tribute to ancient history
This movable pool floor features a unique first and second step. As the first step is smaller than the other steps this allows the second step to feature as a swim-out bench. This way the pool features a seating area which allows the client to relax or take a break without leaving the pool. This submerged swim-out bench or ledge offers comfort and convenience and enhances the social aspect of swimming areas. Often, these swim-out benches are positioned near the edges of the pool or in shallow sections, allowing for easy access while maintaining a sleek aesthetic in pool design.
