A movable floor enables you to adjust the water depth of your swimming pool according to your personal preferences. This increases safety for users, especially children. In a raised position the swimming pool is inaccessible for incorrect or unsupervised use.
We design custom made movable floors to accommodate and integrate our clients demands. As a result, our clients are not bound to standard dimensions or shapes.
In a raised position, the movable floor ensures lower heating costs through insulation integrated in the floor. Since no dirt can enter the water and no chlorine evaporation takes place, there is a reduced use of chemicals. As a result, the energy requirement of the air treatment, if present, decreases and its lifespan extends.
Our technology enables us to use a minimal amount of moving parts, which reduces the costs and time of maintenance.

MEDICAL MOVABLE FLOOR IN ACTION
The unique Tieleman movable floor system consists of a floating platform which features a series of cables and a pulley system with a water-based hydraulic cylinder. When the movable floor is moved, the water will gently flow through the small gap (max. 8mm/0,31inch) around the floor. Within about four to five minutes your rehabilitation or therapy room is transformed into a full-size swimming pool.

Each movable pool floor will be exclusively engineered to incorporate the ideas and options desired by the client. For instance, you can choose a movable floor with a tilt adjustment feature. The tilt adjustment feature is the ideal add-on for any rehabilitation pool or elite sports center. Thanks to the tilt adjustment, you are able to set one end of the floor deeper, causing the other end to logically occupy a higher position. In this way, a gentle slope is created in the pool which allows hydrotherapy with up and downhill resistance.
