A special thanks to all parties involved
On behalf of Tieleman, we were invited – along with Evertsen Bouw, Spie Nederland and
the other subcontractors – to attend the grand opening of the renovated therapy pool. The opening ceremony began with a lovely speech by Fenna Eefting (Director of Vogellanden) and Bas Koolen (Technical Services at Vogellanden). During this speech, all parties involved were recognised and we looked back on the refurbishment.
An Olympic champion among us
Following this recap of the renovation and the kind words of thanks, it was time for the official opening ceremony. The ceremony was led by none other than Olivier van der Voort, Olympic gold medalist at the 2024 Paralympic Games. He gave an inspiring speech, in which he emphasised the importance of teamwork and a positive working atmosphere. He then officially opened the swimming pool by taking a dip together with a rehabilitation patient.
Afterwards, there was an informal get-together where everyone involved in this challenging, yet above all wonderful project had the chance to catch up while enjoying some refreshments.
